Come to Akron, Ohio for the 97th FOCA Convention July 26-29, 2024!  Hosted by Akron 20/32, all meetings and services will be held at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Mogadore, Ohio.  This year’s convention is a family friendly event for all ages in both activity and cost.  Plans for kids of all ages include the Akron Zoo, Akron Rubber Ducks Baseball (with fireworks), and the ProFootball Hall of Fame.  Of course, adults will meet for convention business all day Saturday and Monday morning.

February 2nd (15th) is designated as World Day of Orthodox Youth.  There is no better time in our calendar to cease this opportunity to support the youth of our organization by commencing the Gifts of Love campaign targeting the youth of our Faith.

The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America is coordinating a “virtual” Christmas concert to be streamed live via YouTube on Monday, December 25th, 2023. All Pastors and Parish Choirs are invited to participate by sending in a pre-recorded video including a greeting by your parish priest.

WILLIAMSBURG, VA.—Members and Delegates of the 96th National Convention of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America gathered at The Woodlands Hotel Suites in Colonial Williamsburg July 28 – August 1, 2023, to conduct their annual business meeting.  Host chapter, the South River ‘R’ Club of Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in South River, New Jersey, delivered a weekend of Faith, Family  and Fun.

Akron O Club 20/32 is hosting the 2023 National Sports Tournament on August 18 and 19 in the Greater Akron Ohio community.  This year, we honor the memory of staunch supporter of everything FOCA, Michael E Snyder.

The Executive Board has decided to dedicate this year’s Gifts of Love collection to the Mexico and Alaska relief initiative as established at the All American Council in Baltimore last July. I ask that your chapters and parishes be generous in your giving to the Gifts of Love campaign. Monies collected should be sent to the Treasurer Mickey Bowan by July 1, 2023.

Serge P. Daniels, 90, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn (Wasilko) Daniels.
