98th FOCA Convention Welcome Letter

Glory to Jesus Christ!

The 98th FOCA Convention has arrived.  We are looking forward to fruitful discussions and fellowship amidst the full engagement with the 21st All American Council.  The schedule for our portion is enclosed below.  We are expecting a bit under 50 in attendance which is a blessing considering early returns.  There are 590 delegates for the AAC and 900 attending the Grand Banquet.  We will have a brief, but important presentation within that banquet.

Some key points.

  • “Sacred Alaska” is open to everyone from the FOCA and OCA.  Archbishop Alexei, Archbishop Daniel, and Silas Karbo will be our panelists for the discussion after the screening.  

  • You must register for banquet seating at AAC registration in the foyer of the Arizona Grand Ballroom.

  • Registration for the FOCA Convention will take place on Wednesday from 10:00 - Noon at South Mountain K.

  • Prepare for the heat!  Plan on drinking a lot of water and limit your time outside during the strong sunlight hours.

  • Take full advantage of the service schedule.  We are living a part of history of Orthodoxy in America.
